There are many popular beauty salons in and around Cardiff’s
city centre that offer waxing, some of the more well known
being Saks Hair and Beauty, Body Basix and Bauhaus, all
of which are within the city centre. Of course, there are
also salons further out of the city centre in surrounding
residential areas. Some of these include Pure Vision, Laguna
Health and Spa, and Aroma.
From the typical Cardiff salon that offers waxing services
you can expect a great variety of treatments. The most
popular waxing services in Cardiff tend to be leg and under-arm
waxing, but even then you can usually choose to have a
half leg or full leg wax. Other treatments also include
a variety of bikini line treatments, the nape of the neck,
arm and hand waxes, and also a range of facial waxes from
the basic eyebrow shaping to any other manner of facial
areas such as the nose and upper lips. Prices vary greatly
from salon to salon and also from treatment to treatment,
ranging from around £5 for an eyebrow wax to well
over £50 for combination packages.
There are also some salons that offer waxing specifically
for men, such as HQ hairdressing and grooming for men.
Male-centric salons are less common than female beauty
salons in Cardiff, but they also tend to be cheaper, with
treatments starting from around £15.
